Marsaskala
Wied il-Ghajn or Marsaskala is a maritime village in the south of Malta. Marasaskala has grown from a small fishing village to a major tourist resort. It is also home to many permanent residences. The name Wied il-Ghajn is derived from the fact that Marsaskala is built on two valleys. Wied il-Ghajn opens to the Mediterranean sea and is partially surrounded by Zabbar, Zejtun and Marsaxlokk.
